Life Lanner at the 2nd National Conference on Protected Areas: a scientific poster presents the project results April 3, 2025

On April 3, 2025, the LIFE LANNER project takes center stage at the 2nd National Conference “Protected Areas: Conservation, Connect, Restore, Value Nature,” organized by WWF Italy (link). During the event, the Monti Cimini Authority – Lago di Vico Nature Reserve presents a scientific poster titled “The Lago di Vico Reserve as a Catalyst for the Conservation of the Lanner Falcon – The LIFE LANNER Project.” The poster illustrates the results achieved in recent years for the protection of the Lanner Falcon (Falco biarmicus feldeggii), a species threatened at the national level and included in Annex I of the “Birds” Directive, showcasing the key role of the Lago di Vico Reserve as a catalyst for biodiversity conservation.
