Guidelines about Lanner Falcon hacking available online
Hacking young Lanner Falcons is considerably more complex than in many other raptor species. Their sensitivity to disturbance, rapid behavioural changes, and the need for precise timing make the process particularly demanding for field operators. Within the LIFE LANNER project, we provide dedicated guidelines to support practitioners and ensure that hacking is carried out safely, effectively, and in line with conservation best practices.
