Two closely related species — anything but identical!

From wing shape to tail length, all the way to subtle plumage tones, the Lanner Falcon and the Peregrine Falcon can look almost indistinguishable at first glance. With the right knowledge, however, it becomes possible to tell them apart both in flight and when perched.

As the breeding season approaches, both species will become more active, making it easier to spot them in Italian skies.
